He knows if you've been bad or good...

Santa Claus checking his list.Inspector Clouseau.
There is a time to laugh and a time not to laugh, and this is not one of them.
~ Inspector Clouseau

Inspection: It's for your own protection. We need to know that our food is safe, and that our children's toys will neither choke nor poison them. Will our tires carry us over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house without a blowout? It is the inspector's job and sacred trust to shield us from incompetence, sloppiness and even deliberate sabotage.

Are you receiving the high quality health care you deserve? This past weekend, I was called upon to lead and supervise a Bio Cranial review class for doctors already certified in this unique healing art. Doctor/Students flew in to attend. My job is to evaluate how well the doctors are performing from a technical standpoint so we can keep our professional standards high. Bad or good, naughty or nice--I have to tell them how they are doing, and help them to improve.

We also discuss day-to-day clinical experiences and the lessons that can be learned from them. One thing we concluded is that our patients also need regular inspection. The head controls the body, so it is crucial to be sure things are right with it. While I have seen Bio Cranial work give my patients improved stability over a ten-year period (compared with spinal adjusting alone), I have also seen another phenomenon...

When my patients try to wait for several months between visits, they are generally not in such great shape, even if they are not in pain!

Should you receive your inspection sticker? How to know.

When a new patient visits me for the first time, we go through a basic series of tests. I am interested in two factors during the earliest phase of care:
  1. Are the brain and the body talking and listening to each other?
  2. Are major postural support muscles working?
After that, my focus is on fine-tuning muscle balance, and on checking the stability of spinal alignment, healthy organ function and nutritional sufficiency.

Unfortunately, spinal misalignment, loss of organ vitality and nutritional deficiency may not cause drastic or alarming symptoms. Why not? Because the body may gradually develop imbalances, misalignments and deficiencies and successfully adapt to this gradual deterioration. A few months may go by before the body finally starts to complain to the "owner". Your best defense? Get checked at least every month or two. AND, if you develop pain that lasts more than two or three days, DO NOT WAIT: Schedule an appointment.

Holiday Special Package

Earlier in the year, we offered a special money-saving package to our patients. We had an overwhelmingly high response to this offer. In gratitude for everything we have received this year, we decided to repeat this offer for the holidays.

As many of you know, we have always offered a prepaid package that saves 20% over our visit-by-visit rate. It costs $600 for ten visits, and can be shared with family members or friends. With a normal office visit rate of $75, this saves $15 per visit, or $150 over the life of the package.

When we offered the Jazmin package, we basically took two of these packages and combined them, then threw in two extra visits. In other words, instead of getting 20 visits for $1200, you got 22 visits for a total savings of $450! The Holiday Special Package has this same pricing structure. If you already have a package in force, you can add onto it. Availability will be limited to my ability to continue to provide care for all of the patients who need it.

Schedule Changes

Normally, our office schedules me on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Christmas and New Years weeks, we'll be closed on Thursday and open, instead, on Monday. This is a great time for students and relatives from out of town to get a "tune-up".

Holiday Gift Certificates

We would be delighted to provide you with a smart-looking gift certificate if you'd like to treat someone special to a life-changing Bio Cranial visit. Initial visits count as a double visit. You are welcome to use visits from your prepaid package or to buy separate visits for these gifts. Leave me a voice mail at 713-831-6875 or email me at http://www.drstuart.net/feedback.php for more information or to make arrangements.

Testimonial from an Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Barth Conard

This letter is delayed and late and I apologize, but it is difficult to exactly put into words or describe what you do or how well you do it, or how much you have helped my family. We have gone through different narratives and I am not sure any of them would do justice and I am not sure that anybody would believe about half of what I have observed and/or the benefits my family has experienced.

Personally, the last time I saw Dr. Marmorstein was when I was in Iowa. I was having right leg L5 radiculopathy with pressure on a nerve going down my right leg to the top of my foot. I didn't have big toe weakness, but I certainly was not feeling great. Orthopedically this is something that I would treat with a nerve root injection or with an epidural, and lots of medicine including narcotic medication. Somehow, amazingly, five minutes before I was leaving and you were going to leave I mentioned this to you and through your, what I would call, "Selective Bio Cranial" all of my leg pain went away. Interestingly, I have seen you do so many other similar amazing things I guess I was not surprised that suddenly I had no pain. What you did in about 45 seconds would have taken me one to three months to pull off as an orthopedist. We would have required one to three epidurals, different types of physical therapy, lots of medication, and I think I could have possibly obtained the same result but obviously my path would be very different and certainly less efficient.

In a similar fashion you have helped my shoulders. My diagnoses are often limited via the multiple tests that I run and I have not obtained MRIs of my shoulders. But, I am aware that my shoulders bother me significantly, even at times to where I am concerned about my ability to perform simple surgical tasks. The day before you helped my back and my right leg you helped both of my shoulders with your Kinesiology and your incredibly well-performed Bio Cranials. As an orthopedist I would have taken a different route and I am not sure I would have ended up in the same place. Orthopedically, shoulder problems are often managed conservatively. Our data suggests that we have an 85% good result managing shoulder problems but we typically require three to six months and that involves doing a lot of stuff.

I really appreciate what you have done for my son who had significant right-sided problems secondary to an extremely traumatic birth and pretty significant facial asymmetry. We have obtained head MRIs, cervical MRIs, and could not find anything wrong but he couldn't really turn his head to the right. He had lots of pain. He is eight years old at this moment and for the last 1 1/2 years or so, since you have worked on him, all of his cervical and head issues have pretty much subsided. Maximizing my neurosurgical/radiographic modalities I did not actually have a diagnosis for my son. I was kind of lost in space as he was having a lot of dysfunction and trouble. Once again, your Bio Cranial and your Kinesiology have made him instantly better in 30 seconds and he has remained so.

In summary, I would very much look forward to any classes that you would ever offer on diagnosis and treatment and/or Kinesiology of the musculoskeletal system. I didn't get this information as an orthopedic resident and I usually did stay awake during most of my classes.

Thank you,

Barth T. Conard, M.D.
Vice Chair, Medical Staff Officers
Witham Hospital, Lebanon, IN

My gratitude goes to Dr. Conard for graciously sharing his personal story. You can see many others at http://www.drstuart.net/testim.htm, and elsewhere on my website. Wouldn't you like to spare someone all of the misery you've gone through by simply telling the truth?

If you are camera-shy, we can just print your story. If you just want to tell me what got better for you, I'll be glad to help you rustle up some words. These true accounts may inspire someone who really needs help to seek and find it!

Celebrate joyously and responsibly this holiday season,
Stuart C. Marmorstein, D.C., D.B.C.S.
