The Magic Fluid

cup of coffee

Good morning. I'm enjoying a cup of Nantucket Blend coffee. Just read a fascinating article about a really amazing brew that flows within all of us: Cerebrospinal Fluid or CSF. There's actually less than a cup of this magical elixir within each of us. If you'd like to read a longer article about it, check this out.

Meanwhile, some highlights:

  • CSF may play a role in sleep, sex and appetite
  • The brain floats in CSF, which helps to cushion any blows to the head and protects the spinal cord from having too much pressure on it.
  • CSF flushes the nervous system several times a day, removing harmful substances.
  • It can transport substances into the brain
  • It MAY play a role in sending messages throughout the nervous system.

Cranial work, like the TFT22 and Bio Cranial work I do in our Houston office, can help ensure that optimal CSF flow is maintained.

Recent Technique Refinements

TFT22: As the TFT22 teaching team continues to learn and to teach more doctors, new information comes out about how to turn up the results levels. New students who are graduating from our classes are going back to practice and getting immediate "miracle" results with their patients. We have an active group of doctors communicating with each other through a Google Group, which allows us to regularly upgrade our skills.

CRLT: Cranial LASER Reflex Technique

I recently got two new lasers for use with this technique. Most of the time, I am using the new red laser to help with getting stuck and congested spinal joints to release. The green laser seems to work best for helping with tight muscles.

Thanksgiving Schedule Change

My normal Tuesday-Thursday-Friday schedule will change during the week of Thanksgiving, when the office will close so that the staff can enjoy the holiday with their families. If you would like to see me that week, I'll still be practicing three days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If I don't see you before Thanksgiving, have a blessed holiday.

"Am I in the Right Place?"

Yes, the office looks THAT different. The office center where I work has undergone some major remodeling. The reception area is now open and looks completely different. The carpeting (including in my office) has been replaced. Some patients who haven't been in to see me for a while have become confused by the new look when emerging from the elevator. We ARE still on the 12th floor. It just looks different.

The New Blog IS on the Way

Working out some last minute details before launching the new blog. Why a blog, instead of just a static website? We'll have a lot more opportunity to talk with each other about health news, philosophy and issues that concern us all. You'll be able to post comments, and it will be easier to add new content--including more videos.

Thanks, as always, for reading what I write and recommending my services. I'll look forward to being able to read YOUR comments on the blog once it's live. Meanwhile, you can always click the email link in this newsletter if you want to send me any comments. If they look like something I should share, I may post some once the blog is up.

Yours in and for good health,

Stuart C. Marmorstein, D.C., D.B.C.S.
